Valley Forge

Regardless of the side you are on philosophically regarding war or the justice of a particular war, that we live in a free country and that there are people willing to fight for our freedom is indeed something for which we can praise the Lord!

Recently we had the pleasure of visiting Valley Forge.

Hurricane Irene

We were without electricity for a couple of days during Hurricane Irene. It provided some pleasant memories with our neighbors and as a family -- "camping" on the porch being one of them. We brewed coffee and made pasta for dinner on the grill. It was so warm, the children were able to play in the rain, which is always a fun thing to do. After the storm Addie made a swing and enjoying playing on it. God's power on display is always worthy of praise!

A Friend's Wedding

Recently, my husband stood up for a buddy of his in his wedding. When we arrived at the wedding I saw this pair of shoes and found humor in how it looked like someone had been standing up there and disappeared. And, music is a pretty thing both visually and audibly.
